
In 2023, social media platforms are continuing their rapid evolution, with Twitter and LinkedIn already announcing significant changes to their platforms.
Here are some interesting updates this year:
Post Scheduling – This new feature allows users to schedule their posts in advance using the ‘schedule icon’, giving users complete control over their content.
Updates to Carousel Posts – LinkedIn is rolling out a new format that allows you to add multiple images and/or videos in a single post.
Improved Video Accessibility – LinkedIn now automatically generates captions for videos uploaded to the platform. You can choose to add or edit these captions before publishing the video.
Creator Analytics – The new creator analytics dashboard helps you to learn more about your followers and the type of content that gets maximum traction. Don’t forget to activate creator mode to access these options.
Target Audience Setting – the new setting allows business pages to target their posts by language, region, job function, location, university, company size, seniority and/or industry.
Twitter recently introduced Twitter Blue, a paid subscription service which adds a blue checkmark to your account and offers early access to select features such as:
Longer Tweets – Twitter added a new element to its Twitter Blue subscription package, with members now being able to write tweets up to 10,000 characters. Everyone will be able to read longer Tweets but only Twitter Blue subscribers will be able to post them.

Edit Tweets – Developers announced that an edit button is currently in the works for Twitter that will work up to 30 minutes after the Tweet is shared
Text formatting – Now you can bold or italicize text in your Tweets
Longer video upload – Twitter Blue subscribers can upload videos up to 60 minutes long
